Bonjour à vous, Je me nomme Alexandre Chartrand, neveu de Josée et Jean-Claude. Je les remercie profondément, ainsi que toute l’équipe à L’Orée du Bois, de m’avoir donné la chance de faire plusieurs œuvres d’art, dont l’entrée en bois rond, le bateau sur la terrasse, l’autoportrait de Jean-Claude et divers projets au sein du commerce. Grâce à eux, je me suis perfectionné comme artisan de bois et métal. Jean-Claude et moi avions eu l’idée de faire une gamme d’œuvres en bois signée L’Orée du Bois. En l'honneur de Jean-Claude, je vous présente le premier des produits de cette gamme ; nos plateaux Orée. Nous avons trois (3) différentes essences de bois : le noyer cendré, l’orme liège et le cerisier tardif. Hello to you, My name is Alexandre Chartrand, nephew of Josée and Jean-Claude. I deeply thank them, as well as the whole team at L’Orée du Bois, for giving me the chance to create several works of art, including the log entrance, the boat on the patio, the self-portrait of Jean-Claude and various projects within the venue. Thanks to them, I perfected myself as a wood and metal craftsman. Jean-Claude and I had the idea of making a range of products by L’Orée du Bois. In honour of Jean-Claude, I present to you the first of the products of this range; our Orée platters. We have three (3) different types of wood: Butternut, Cork Elm and Black Cherry.
